A good leader represents the characteristics of honesty, proactive, earnestness, and so much more. A leader that is educated and embodies the ability to assess the other group's skills and talents in order to utilize them to accomplish a goal. Barack Obama was the first black senator for the state of Illinois. Barak was also the first black United States President. Barak made a healthcare program that has been modified to include more people it is called Obamacare. Obama is a good leader because he is persuasive and a diligent worker. As a leader he does many things which include visiting foreign countries, instilling hope and freedom, and providing opportunity, modernizing infrastructure, building new energy sources, and investing time…show more content…
Consequently, his career before have created a great foundation for the leadership that he exhibits today. "Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America: They will be met." ("Barack Obama Biography.") This quote by Barack Obama surmised his political career throughout the course of time that lead up to his present leadership position. Some of the careers that he took up the vocation of a lecturer there he taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School (University of Chicago Law School) then a lawyer in Illinois. This is a good part of the background of our leader. ("Barack Obama Biography.") The two careers helped him to refine some good skills such as reasoning and public speaking. In January 27th of 2010 president Barak Obama gave his state of the union address ("Barack Obama Biography.") A leader at this point in their career as a good leader addresses the people's legislators assessing the current state of the country and outlines his future ramifications. This is planning this is what a leader of such a multitude of people. Furthermore achievements show that the leader is diligent and can utilize assistance to follow through with their plan.
